The closing event of the Coastal Fisheries Initiative - Challenge Fund Ecuador project was held at the Charles Darwin Foundation's Inspiration Complex, with approximately 40 people in attendance.
In a final meeting with the group of participants of the Coastal Fisheries Initiative - Challenge Fund (CFI-CF) Ecuador, the collective work carried out throughout the process of co-creating the vision and prototypes of the Galapagos seafood system over the past 10 months with different stakeholders from the islands of the archipelago was recalled.
Participants from the Coastal Fisheries Initiative - Challenge Fund (CFI-CF) Ecuador prioritized key elements for a social marketing campaign for the Galapagos seafood system.
Five new ventures, which are part of the “Entrepreneurial Community of the Galapagos Seafood System”, presented their business ideas and plans to representatives from different sectors of the archipelago.
On October 26 and 27, the third workshop for the co-creation of the Galapagos Seafood System Vision was held with 32 participants from Santa Cruz, San Cristobal and Isabela islands.
On the 2nd of June to the 1st of July 2021, the Entrepreneurship Bootcamp was held, within the Coastal Fisheries Initiative – Challenge Fund Ecuador, a project implemented by the World Bank with the support of the Charles Darwin Foundation, and which was technically managed ty EDES (Business School of the Particular Technical University of Loja).
Continuing with the process of co-constructing the vision of the seafood system, a second workshop was held June 16 to 18 2021, with 42 participants from the islands of Isabela, Santa Cruz and San Cristobal, at the Aquelarre farm in Santa Cruz island.
